But for today, I’m deviating from my theme just a little bit. Because coincidentally, the founder of the A-Z challenge is named Arlee (tell me you didn’t already know that :-P), so I’ll start on my theme tomorrow, and today I wanted to thank him instead.
It’s my fourth year participating in the challenge, and every year the entire thing grows. I’ve met some brilliant and amazing people every single time, and none of that would have been possible if it weren’t for Mr Arlee Bird.
So thank you, for the challenge, for continuing to run it, for gathering up all your co-hosts and making every year bigger and better than the year before.
Where are you blogging at this year, and how has Arlee influenced you?
This is my first year trying the challenge, so we’ll see. I’ve seen Arlee’s name around lots of the blogs I follow but we haven’t actually chatted ourselves yet. I’m currently #531 on the list but you can always find me at Charity’s Writing Journey .
I’m also thanking Arlee for this awesome challenge, over at http://bev-thebevelededge.blogspot.com/2013/04/a-is-for-arlee-bird.html.
It;s nice to share it with someone!
yay for arlee!
and looking forward to your take on romance in these techie days!
I haven’t met Arlee yet, but I’m grateful for how she put this together. I can only imagine how much work was involved.
Cheers for Arlee! Such a great idea to get the blogging community together and networking.
Perfect start to the A to Z challenge. And, your theme sounds interesting. I write romantic comedies so hope I can get some insight into romance in this modern world.
Hi Alyson! Wow 4 years! Go you! My third, and always a good time. Look forward to your romantic posts!
What a great way to start! Thank you Arlee.
This is my second year doing the challenge, and both years I’ve met some amazing bloggers and grew my audience. So that’s how Arlee influenced me.
Hi from Nagzilla bloghopping A to Z
Amen and thank you! 🙂 Happy A to Z!
This thing has grown incredibly. Lee’s done us all a huge favour coming up with it.

Thank you for visiting my blog. And yes this is a good post thanking the people within the A-Z challenge 🙂
This is my second year with A to Z. Like you I found blogs and bloggers that I still follow and who follow me despite NOT having the same blog focus.
Oh cool, four years–that’s every year since it started, right?
This is my second year, and I wish I had all my posts written, but at least I have a theme and a general idea what I’ll write for each day. My first week is set. I’m getting stuck on a few letters.
My mind boggles at the sheer number of participants. ZOIKS!
Wait.. and Arlee starts with A? Next thing you know you’ll be telling me that April, the month the challenge is held in also works for… oh em gee…
*giggles*
But seriously, good post for today. I look forward to romance and technology in the future posts. 😉
It has grown a lot, right? I was shocked to see over 1500 participants this year.
Good luck on your posts! 🙂
Four years? Whew! You must be a pro at this! I’ve been watching it happen for the last three and thinking, “Hm, it might be fun if…” But alas, then I remembered reality and the ticking clock. BUT I’m here this year, and so glad to meet a veteran!
This is my second year and I’m amazed at how many more people there are this year than last year. I can’t imagine how much you’ve seen it grow over 4 years. 🙂
Here’s to Arlee – A-Z Maestro!
This is my fourth year too, and I love how much it has grown in such a short space of time 🙂
